² Southern Zone Airport

Access to this Drake Bay property is getting easier with each passing day -- more flights from San Jose and improving roads. Neither of these will be much in comparison to the planned airport which will be located between Palmar and Golfito which is a little more than an hours drive from Drake Bay.

The Southern Zone is looking to repeat the success of the Liberia Airport in the north (Guanacaste) of Costa Rica. There will be direct flights from the US, Canada and Europe. From the US, expect flights from Miami, Atlanta, and Dallas/Houston from the start.

This is however, a double edge sword. It will bring more tourist traffic and with it more threat to the environment which is why we are taking great care to building our community in Drake in an environmentally sound manner.
